Hair so Real is like Toppik but much cheaper and lasts at least 2,5 months. I have tried Toppik and I think that Hair So Real is much better!! Its more thin, natural-looking and stays well on the hair when you use a hairspray. I use it in compination with Dermatch and I have a great result. Imo, Dermatch and Hair so Real compination is both the cheapest and best solution for hairloss covering. Try it!

I'm tempted to get some. Dermmatch is great, but not if I have a lot of area to cover. Even dabbing it around is better than nothing. But there are days when I wish I could just spray or foam it on. I'm thinking Dermmatch for my hairline and grafts, then Hairsoreal for the thin hairs behind that.

Is it waterproof? can you run your hands through your hair with nothing coming off? no give away under bright light? or even closeup?
Can I style my hair first then use Hair so real? or use Hair so real first then gel my hair and style it?
I've been using Dermatch for the past 3-4 years now, but nowadays im starting to notice more scalp :shakehead: ,
I'm worried it will just look like a painted scalp:O , with Dermatch I have to avoid sitting under drirect light and hate the rain:'(

I can't speak for Hair so Real but I can tell you the Toppix works great!!
I style my hair 1st. It is wet and I use Crew Thinckening lotion ( which they no longer make ) I run that in my hair, while it is wet. I then sprinkle toppix on my wet hair. This is not how Toppix is suppose to be used but it works very well.
Can't tell anything under bright lights.
You can run your hand through it and ' sometimes a little will come off but if your not looking for it on your hands your not going to find it
You can swim with it and go in the rain NOTHING comes off. As a matter of fact I sometime take showers ( I don't shampoo my hair just wet it ) and when I come out the Toppix is still in my hair and I can style it. My hair looks great when I do this because it is as if the Toppix is real hair.
