Half of men over 40 have hairloss, so why has every president

Well you just answered your question, not all of them were fullhead.

Because being president is just a big popularity contest and it's hard to make an image for yourself if you're a NW6

I think there's already been a thread here that discussed this very topic.

I remember having looked up that, starting from the 20th century to keep things a bit more relevant, most presidents/prime ministers of France, Germany, Austria and Italy have had severe balding. It's really odd when you compare them to US presidents and British prime ministers as a good chuck of them have thick manes, even with a balding pattern. There's probably something to be said about what appears to be some kind of fixation of the Anglo-Saxon world on whatever tuft of hair adorns one's head...

After all, Putin's hugely popular in Russia and Berlusconi was adored by a good portion of the Italian people yet you don't see them sporting NW1-2 patterns.

A balding or bald president won't be elected for the same reason as an atheist president; they're not respected.

If you look at the candidates from the last 60-70 years, not many bald men even ran for president of the US so it would have been difficult for one to be elected. Prior to that there were plenty of baldies in the office.

I'm still envious of Clinton's hairline, that guy is still rocking a Norwood-0

Back in the day he had Jesus hair:

How bald are we talking here because many of our (U.K) Prime Ministers have had balding heads. Not totally bald but even current PM David Cammeron flicks his hair back to conceal his thinning hair at the top of his head. The Chancellor - Osborne - has a caeser cut to conceal receding. Tony Blair is very thin and whispy now. Callaghan, Wilson, Heath, Home, McMillan, Churchill, Clement Attlee (a proper NW7), Cecil, Gladstone and Disraeli - all NW3/diffuse thinners or more.

U.S. president is bizarre though - very image orientated.

North Americans are very, very shallow.

Baldness is not common, being a political leader is attributed to guts, the wit, awesomeness,to make people here you,to win the hearts of people,
to be instinctively distinguishable in a group of people.

Have you ever knew about Mahatma Gandhi.

Go to shaadi dot com and search the pics of male grooms,i have scanned about 1000 profiles and i saw only one bald there,

Its problem of baldies if they think they are not popular.

That's the point. 60 years is the TV age, and almost all presidents in that time have been fullhairs. So think about what that says about our culture.
