I'm currently on finasteride but am thinking of stopping it due to potential sides. It stopped my receding hairline for about a year and now its starting recede again, although very slowly
Anyone have any idea how effective CB would be if I started using that instead?

CB's trials results showed after 1 year everyone returned back to baseline. Definitely not as effective as finasteride and you would regret replacing.

it's means that everyone kept their hair for the duration of the trial which exaclty how it is supposed to work
This finasteride user is below baseline now so obviously CB works much better
Any anti androgen is going to work much better than finasteride - bicalutamide, flutamide, RU etc.. But they all have side effects
CB is the only one with no sides so you can keep you hair on it over time unlike finasteride

you mix the powder with ethanol and that's it pretty much, real simple
a couple of places sell the powder

As for replacing finasteride, you can note the difference that most of the finasteride studies only took measurment at the Vertex, for the phase 3 and the combined 5 years studies. Meaning that you could have a receeding hairline but an improved crown and show up as improvements in the statistics of the study

The breezula study did look at the whole balding areas not only the vertex

The main thing with that study is that the control group lost quite a bit of hair in that year, so they picked people who were balding pretty aggressively and had them maintain

Doesn't fluridil not have sides to or would you say it's not effective enough?

What ? The finasteride trials showed a 22% average increase over a 1 year period. Month 0 to the 12th month in the CB trials showed zero increase. CB as a drug will only help those who have very slow hairloss. If you have male pattern baldness in your 20's CB isn't going to do anything.

According to studies, finasteride is a more effective treatment than CB. The phase 2 results for CB were disappointing. Take a look at Timpson's post that NorwoodReaper has quoted in this thread, and also read what NorwoodReaper has said in reply: https://www.hairlosstalk.com/intera...sults-for-breezula.122003/page-4#post-1789851.

According to existing evidence, CB is not a superior or an equally-effective alternative to Finasteride. It is a less effective alternative.

No one in this thread has used both drugs all you do is quote some studies which are very different by nature
Hey the study also said only 2%get side effects but this isn't even true in practice

The finasteride studies only really looked at the vertex loss - becuase they already knew it wasnt going to be very effective at the hairline

Hey el-duterino, you still use CB? I always tracked you from hairlosshelp. Where do you buy the CB? Kane?

I wanted to ask could you also like RU mix CB with Eucapil fluridil?

CB will dissolve in ethanol
i bought mine from Kane but there are others sources
no reason to use RU anymore, CB is better

I live in a state where ethanol is not legal. I am planning to make batches of CB by dissolving it in liquid minoxidil. The most recent test results showed best results at 7.5% solution. Minoxidil is 2oz., do I put 1.5 grams of CB in to make it?
