Has brand name Propecia been discontinued?

I've been filling brand name Propecia prescriptions since 2008. On my recent refill request in October, CVS told me their computer system is showing the manufacturer discontinued the medication. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I guess I'll have to switch to generics but I was having tons of success on the brand name.

Yes I saw in France it is discontinued too...

It's the same formula, QC might vary with the generics, can't you just get Proscar and cut it? As long as you cut the pills evenly you'll get your daily dose.
