Has finasteride + minoxidil got anybody's hair back to how it was pre-thinning?

I'm 1 week into finasteride- started thinning 2 years ago and hopped on minoxidil right away. Slowed it down in the beginning but the past year it accelerated and I finally hopped on finasteride.

I realize this is a very general question but just anxious for progress as I was looking at some old pictures of myself with long hair. Obviously time will tell but who out there has had themselves or seen such results?

January 26th is my 5th month on 5% minoxidil am/pm, 1mg finasteride daily, and 1% nizoral everyday (2% nizoral once a week)

I've had a lot of regrowth in the front and a bit in the back, although its hard to tell. For the first 2 months I lost TONS of hair on the regime. I stuck with it and am now above my baseline, although not by much. By month 12 I hope to have the glory hair back again.

Mostly thickening or regrowth of new hairs too?

Mostly just regrowth. Overall the density has increased, but not enough to say that its thick. I'll post a thread to success stories in about a month when I get 6 months, but I can say for sure that I do have more hair.

In the beginning when I started treatment, ESPECIALLY during the time after the first month, I used a hair concealment everyday all over my hair. Now I just sprinkle it on in the back when I feel insecure.

Whatever goes through your hair man, just remember that every single person has insecurities, but just like you they're trying to hide them. People care more about how they look than how others look, as long as you're a rad person to be around no one will give a **** what your appearance is. BUT if you're trying to pick up women thats another deal...
