iv been searching and i havent find one documented scientifically proven that castration saves from male pattern baldness
only observations but this doesnt prove it 100%
i havr a friend now hos in a wheel chair and he has no feelings in his testicels and legs and his legs have shrunken i guess hes testicles are not producing testosterone anymore because he cant even go pee himself he has a tube atached to him
anyway hes a n3.5 or n4 so i guess i will have living proof now and see if hes hair loss progresses or stops

I think there is a eunuch study pointing that out.

I remember some castrates lost temple hair because the adrenals still produced testosterone which over time converted to DHT and damaged them.

I believe that if castration were done before any sign of androgenic hair loss it will prevent it from occurring. I on the other hand, who was chemically castrated still lost hair years after starting my HRT. I also know of some post op transgender woman who also have lost hair after their surgery. I wouldn't consider castration as a form of prevention as I'm proof that it's not.
im not considering as an option of course i just want to get to the bottom of this androgen hair loss claim
because i was watching the other day a documentary on world war 2 and how hitler castrated people and there was this black half african german they castrated as a boy but in the interview in the documentary he still had significant hair loss

What is his name? Btw, most castrated men live on Testosterone injections.

Also chemical castration is way more potent than surgical. Adrenal glands still producing androgens and surgery doesn't affect that.

Yes what is the name of the documentary? I began chemically castrating myself 47 days ago and hair loss is still progressing. Shedding has maybe dropped a little though.

I think that JUST blocking Androgens most likely will not recover your hair. Trans women tend to regrow as they are blocking Androgens and taking relatively high dosages of Estrogen as well. In my OPINION this is causing some structural changes of the scalp itself which is probably where the whole issue begins in the first place. Blocking Androgens alone does not cause this structural change.

What you're saying doesn't prove anything ...
You don't know if he has low levels of testosterone, and only a blood test can confirm that.

But you can still lose your hair even with low levels of testosterone, I tried Cyproterone and I had low levels of testosterone and was still losing my hair and has itchy scalp.
How bad is your itchy scalp? My itch and shedding has actually decreased on Cyproterone but somehow my balding continues.. I'm hoping that its just the horrific minoxidil shed that lasted almost 6 months showing its full damage now..
If you don't mind me saying, I think you would have faired better on Cyproterone if you never started dutasteride.. If you truly did display hyperandrogenicity side effects then it probably was that, and it sucks. Would you mind PM'ing me pics of your hair? That would help put things into perspective for me.

It's pretty severe, it drives me insane, seriously ...
Yeah without Dutasteride maybe I would have had a better experience with Cypro ... too bad :/
I don't take pictures, too depressing.

How much Cypro are you taking? Your testosterone is low ?
Fair enough dude, I completely understand. I haven't had any tests done but I'm fairly sure my testosterone is probably within female ranges now. I'm currently on 25mg of cypro but was on 50mg for 3 weeks as a loading dose. Itch is still there but about half as bad as it used to be.. Shame about my head hair so far though LOL. Are there any future treatments you are looking forward to?

Maybe I will start Cyproterone and Estradiol ... I really don't know. If not, I will just give up ....................

Ok if you're takine 25mg CPA, sure your testosterone levels must be really low. And it's not working. Same boat.
I envy those who just take finasteride and have massive regrowth :D

Is your girlfriend still with you? Dude I feel like you've gone too far man, hair isn't worth what you're doing to yourself.

She is. It may noe be worth it to you but my self image is very important, I don't like to admit it but if I had to choose hair over her, I'd choose the hair.
