Has my Telogen Effluvium turned into male pattern baldness? (pics)

If you guys could please indulge me for a second and listen to my story.....I underwent treatment around about 2 years ago for chronic skin inflammation due to an allergic reaction called Urthicaria. The treatment involved usage of the steroid medication prednisone is huge doses intermittently over a year. Around about 6 months into the treatment I noticed my hair was thinning and turning quite bristley, but thought nothing of it at the time as hair loss doesn't run in my family at all on either my mother or my fathers side.

As more time on the medication passed I noticed that the hair on one side of my temples was getting noticeably thinner but without any hair line recession. As time progressed it just got worse and worse, with no bald spots but excessively thin hair all over. I've seen a doctor and they said that it was all a side effect of medication and the hair will return to normal but what worries me is that the hair is thinning more at the crown and temples, so could this have progressed to male pattern baldness?

I've been fully medication free for 6 months now, so should I start to see regrowth soon?

Have a look at the pictures and tell me what you think. Thanks for your time.

I should also mention that it's been affecting my eyebrows and facial hair too, with particularly my right eyebrow becoming noticeably thinner in density and my beard is thinner all over.
