I just stopped propecia about 3 weeks ago after taking it at 1mg/day for about 18 months.
Reasons for stopping were ED, difficulty gaining muscle and concerns about fat starting to build up around my mid section. I feel better in general after stopping it. I get morning wood and spontaneous erections again.
Wasn't particularly impressed with the results.
Maybe all my hair will fall out now, but I definitely know finasteride isn't a viable option for me. I only had some minor temple thinning when I started, so hopefully that won't happen.
I've now switched to RU from anageninc. Premixed because I don't have time to mix it myself.
So obviously in about 6-12 months I'll know for sure whether RU works for me based on how much maintainence/regrowth I get in the areas I apply it.
But one early sign I noticed (within days) that propecia was doing something when I started was a sudden reduction in acne. So I'm wondering if anyone with forehead acne noticed RU do the same thing since some usually drips down when applying it.
