Have you busted or been busted - wiggies, concealers, transplant?

Anyone been busted or busted some one for either wearing a wig, using concealer, or noticing a new hairline or scar from an old school transplant?

I was busted twice for wearing concealers about 5 years ago when I first started. First occassion was "Have you painted your hair?" very awkward and from a typical loud mouth douche - I made up some **** excuse about playing around in art class and we all began to paint our heads and used the cliched ''You should see the other guy"

The second time was around the time I again was playing around with a concealer that was far too light for my hair and someone noticed. I just said I was using a new ''hair wax'' FFS!

Anyhoos, over to you guys, have you ever been busted, or busted someone? Be interesting to read the replies if I get any.

Curious about your father's wig. How did she notice, and what happened? Was your Dad embarrased or just took it in his stride?

A few years ago I went to a reunion and I was standing in a mixed group of about eight people just minding my own business just letting other people talk and tell stories.Then out of nowhere this loud mouth comes walking towards our group he yells out my name and says at the top of his voice "we all think you have spray on hair from a can in your hair".I nearly died everyone heard the comment I didn't know what to say so I just said nothing and took off to the toilets and sat in the cubicle for about 20 mins.I then called a mate from the bathroom to come and pick me up,and I left without re entering the room..I was so humiliated I just couldn't face everyone again..I was wearing a little toppik at the time I had no idea people could tell..I will never go to reunions ever again..

Yes Fred,he was an a**h** always a loudmouth and on the reunion night he got there pretty early and started drinking,so by the time I arrived he was pretty drunk and that's probably made it worse for me cos he had no shame at all saying what he said..I have had nothing to do with him ever since..The worst thing was one of the chicks I really liked her all through high school was standing right next to me when the arsehole made the comment I saw her put her face in her hands as if to say no way I can't believe what I just heard..

I'm hearing you Fred,That would have been right up there with my situation..Those arseholes have no idea what damage they have done with a few loose comments..But in a way that bad night I had spurred me on to greater things and gave me a stealy determination to not let this HAIRLOSS beat me..Fred you can hold your head up high now with your results and I'm stoked with mine.So I think we both had the last laugh..

It makes me think of my public humiliation in a bar, five assholes singing "HE HAS NO HAIIIR" to my face in front of dozens of people. I still can't believe it was real.

I would have cried so hard if that happened to me... Not that I think it ever will, because people have more sympathy for women's hair loss. Although I don't think it's any fun when people stare at you and wonder if you are sick with cancer either. Bottom line being bald sucks.

Yeah.. its kinda a shock--. like when your "friend" points out you're going bald in front of group of people.. Its hard to react rationally. But you should't have run like a beat down dog. I bet you played that situation in your head, over and over again.

Thats why I dont use concealers. I just know my "alpha friends" would tear me apart if they ever found out.. and it would stick with me forever.

Abu, your right I probably should have stayed on and faced everyone but I was so shocked at what had been said all the wind went out of my sails and I couldn't socialise anymore that night..I struggle in big crowds and this place was packed to the rafters full..

I was in KFC with my brother about 4-5 years ago. My brother was starting to thin in teh crown and recede at the temples, it wasn't super noticable, I wasn't even totally sure. In front of a group of people "Are you going bald)" My brother called me out in front of everyone there "You're some ignorant, how would you like if it was you losing your hair and somebody said to you in front of a load of people". There were probably some other bald/balding guys there thinking good on you. It was probably the perfect response, very dignified, kept his composure and made me look like an ignorant a**h**. I was probably thinning/receding at the time later, didn't realise for another 2-3 years though. When it hit me, and I finally realised, he had already been on finasteride for a year and gave me all the advice I needed to fight it.

So yeah, I was that a**h**, and in the end, I was balding too.

What do concerlars do to your hair ?

so if you have diffused thinning its good
but still i would cbf with that ****
going for FUE + Smp

Thats why I dont use concealers. I just know my "alpha friends" would tear me apart if they ever found out.. and it would stick with me forever.

It is also why I don't use concealers. No doubt I would get caught and **** on for it.
