By now we've all probably heard the story of someone who had been dealing with balding for a few years, only to finally shave their head and be happy with the outcome. I can certainly understand this reaction; I'm firmly in the camp that believes anyone above a NW3 would look considerably better with a clean shave. However, there's a rather large group of people who tend to be immune to this post-shave relief. That group largely consists of people who have a bad head shape. I'm one of these people; I shaved my head and noticed a linear indentation that bothers me much more than it should. Sometimes I feel that if I had a satisfactory head shape, I wouldn't care nearly as much about keeping my hair; I probably wouldn't have even started taking finasteride. Does anyone feel the same? What are your thoughts?
I also thought I'd post a few examples of head shapes that I find unsuitable for the bald look. This is simply an observation and is in no way mean-spirited.
