Hi,

I've just tried the new one ("Head & Shoulders Extra Fullness") and my scalp is now BURNING :freaked2: . Does it get any better with time (like some people report about other products, like Folligen) or do I just trash the shampoo bottle & never try it again?

thanks,
avri

Wow, that is strange. Especially if folligen doesnt cause any irritation so your scalp is probably in good condition. I don't know what to tell you?

I'd go with the ol' "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" rule.

But since you've started the discussion, compare the ingredients and let us know what the difference is, if it isn't too much to ask. I'm curious why it did that. I agree with the previous post- if you can tolerate folligen, you should be able to tolerate anything. Although they also say that the scalp is more permeable when it is wet/hydrated then when it is dry. Maybe that's why you can tolerate folligen AFTER you shower, but not the new H&S WHILE you shower. Who knows. Interesting.

Has it helped the appearance of your hair as the names suggests?

Thanks. Well, there's at least one new ingredient: "PEG-7M". A Google search shows some other shampoos use it, too. Maybe I'm allergic to it. Different concentrations of the other ingredients may also explain it.
