I'm new here and started trying to re-grow some hair with a product called Head Way as of three days ago. It is minoxidil 5% same as Rogaine, but is it as effective?
It appears fine to me but it is obviously too early to know if it is doing any good. It doesn't irritate the way I was expecting minoxidil to though. From reading this forum I was expecting it to be unbearable but the iritation is very mild. Does it help that I shave my head to help with absorbtion?
I haven't seen Head Way mentioned here so I'm starting to feel a little worried and the lack of irritation is making me wonder if it is doing anything at all.

Why not just get some minoxidil instead? I use Rogaine 5% and experience no irritation with twice daily applications.

I bought the Head Way because it was half the price of Rogaine and has the same main ingredient ie 5% minoxidil.
If you have no irritation with another brand of minoxidil I feel a bit better. I'll stick with the minoxidil for the coming year anyway. That is long enough to know if it's working isn't it?

Its just another generic version of minoxidil will be fine. Just as good as Regaine/Rogaine.
