Hello everyone. This is what my hair looks like at 24. Thoughts? Should go back to treatment?

I used to post in this forum a lot, back in 2020/2021. I took finasteride from june 2021 to february 2023, then quit.
I aromatised estradiol and estrogen, i got a insanely bloated face, gained 15kg(note that i had the same life style). I couldn't take any longer and deal with sides. That sh*t fucked up my metabolism to this day.

This is what my hair looks like now. I am a diffuse thinner, unfortunately. It started to diffuse at 19/20. Now that i stopped finasteride for 2 years, it is starting to progress real bad.

Get back on finasteride or start oral minoxidil so you can buy yourself a bit of time. I switched to dutasteride 2 months ago because I still lost a bit of hair on finasteride.

Your hairs which we’re firing on all cylinders 5 years ago are not growing like before. Need to get follicles back in Anagen growth phase. The anti DHT rout doesn’t work for many men.. I would get a Hairmax laser comb use it every other day..Their supplements are good too..
There is a Niostem electro stimulus device which really works 30 minutes a day. It’s about $1000 new.. I got one 2nd hand for less than half.. I guarantee you will grow hair..

You look good .. but I get your concern..
The DHT stops hairs from growing & thickening… Eventually hairs stop growing .. But they can grow back..

If you have terminal hair (still growing) hair in the balding area, you can still make gains with your receding hairline. If it happened recently, you can still make some gains.

Minoxidil will add temporary gains (+5 years), if it works for you. You will need an anti androgen, or liquid Progesterone, if you stopped responding to Minoxidil.

Start young, but it's your body, your choice. I'm a Norwood three (in my third stage of life). I would be a Norwood five or six without medication.

Try low dose topical finasteride with oral min. Or just solo oral min if u dislike finasteride
