Hello new to these forums, noticed temple recession last 4 months

Hello,

I'm 38 years old and never had any issues with hair loss. Well the last 4 months have been stressful and I noticed just recently I got hair loss in the temples. Baldness does run in my family and am wondering if this is the early signs of male pattern baldness?

I'm single so thats why i'm really concerned about keeping it lol. I do aware i've got lots of hair and no thinning or loss in the crown at all. I saw an MD, and asked for finasteride (proscar cut into 4 pieces) and have been taking it the last 3 days. I'm just curious on peoples opinions. Pics attached and thanks!

You appear to have a little miniaturisation along the hairline and temple points but you still have a good hairline and thickness.

You're on finasteride, at this stage I'd say that's more than enough to keep what you have.
