Hello, Should I Accept My Balding Fate?

Hi guys,

I'm 23, and only noticed the top of my hair thinning (thanks grandad!) a couple weeks ago.

I jumped immediately on Rogaine just to maintain what I have but had an epiphany; this is going to be a lifelong battle that might not be worth fighting.

My questions is, will I look ok shaven (1 guard)/bald? I'm not that fussed about having hair so much, but rather worried about the unknown element of my head shape.

Thanks for reading.

thinning on top huh? you have any close ups? no visible hair loss from the pics you provided. handsome guy too! worst case scenario i think you'll look good bearded and shaved-head.

Oh ok, I'll look into it to see if Finasteride is worth it.

I'm definitely thinning....its early stages but I'm genetically predisposed to losing my hair. I don't wanna go through the hassle of rogaine and pills!

i dont think you need rogaine at this stage, finasteride are pills and they are pretty cheap but they will slow your hairloss and maintain what you have now, if there is any hairloss in your case

even in those close ups it's very hard to see thinning, but i would keep an eye on it. my hair thinned in a similar way on top but it never got worse, just turned into a wispy bird's nest and stabilized. so it's possible that you're genetically predisposed to thinning, but not necessarily being bald.
