So, I had a couple of procedures done 12 and 7 years ago with Dr. Gabel in Portland, OR (about 5k grafts from strips total?), and honestly, I'm still really, really happy with the results. I started noticing hair loss 'round the temples at about 16, so I would have been bald as a coot by 30 for sure.
One thing though: I've noticed that when I cut my hair short at the back (#4 blade), even though the strip scar is pretty invisible, there are some patches of darker coloured hair around the scar that make it a but more obvious than I'd like that something's going on back there. (see attached images -- looks worse in person).
Was thinking of bleaching it a bit with Hydrogen Peroxide or summat. Any experience with this kind of issue? What did you do to sort it?
