Help - I keep (sun) burning my crown

Summer is great - mostly. For me, it means burning my crown everytime time I go out into the sun. I’ve looked at UV sprays and other lotions that could help. However, it usually turnes out a mess and makes my (remaining) hair on the crown extremely greasy and messy. The only solution is to wear a hat, but when I go inside and take my hat off, my hair is flat and sweaty. Any suggestions from you guys?
