This might be a long read but please read.









can anyone enlighten me more on Sulfasalazine

I will start off 500mg and increase the dosage by 500mg every 7-10 days till i reach 3g
will do it for 6 months

and at what dosages should i take Folic Acid like some people recommended

I am taking it because i think i have alopecia
My hair loss goes like a straight line by my sides
and i am losing lots of hair on the back of my head.
Have a circle patch under my chin(can't grow a beard on that circle patch)
and some parts on my side beard.
My temples are turning to NW2 sooner or later
My hairloss started in 2011 of November :/ i am only 20 years old and i look older.
I feel like committing suicide ... i even have Tinea versicolor i guess it's a skin inflammation right, (causes light gray spots on skin)? must be due to a bad immune system?

When my hair falls off, the root of it looks like some green small seed(white sometimes) with it.
I don't think i have male pattern baldness since i have naturally low test levels (lower than 300ng/dl, around 250-280ng/dl)

but im curious - isnt this an arthitis drug ?
how did you got it has to do something with hairloss ?

OP-you should make sure, before taking sulfa, you have some sort of alopecia. Go see derm.
