hi guys,

i am looking into starting on rogaine, the thing is i want to start on rogaine foam but it only comes in 5%. my hair loss is only receeding and thinning at the front, and they say its not recommended that i use 5% at the front, can i just use it anyway? what bad could happen?

the only thing is the foam only comes in 5% and i want something thats quick drying so i can gel my hair not long afterwards! if i really have to then ill just go for the gel..

thanks chaps

You really want to use the 5%. And, yes, it is okay to use at the front, it does help fight frontal hairline male pattern baldness.

minoxidil acts everywhere, less effective in the temples area.

the foam dries really fast, and the hair doesn't get sticky or oily.

the only reason I use 3% (diluted from 5%) is to save money and spread it around easier. 5% is 50% stronger than 2%.
