Here We Go, Side-effects On Minoxidil After Just One Week

As above, I got the first side effect as expected. I can hear my heartbeat very distinctly, this is not normal. I guess it isn't faster than usual, but it's very loud. Otherwise I don't have any other symptom , chest pain, dizzines or head ache neither, so it 's clear that I'm not allergic to minoxidil (?). Am I overdosing? How does 1 ml foam actually look like? Did anyone have the same experience?

Happened to me, rapid heartbeat for the first two weeks for a short period of time after applying it, then it went away

I'm using minoxidil and also (3 months now) had some side effects (heartbeat rythm and headach sometimes).It happened I think 4 or 5 times but nothing to worry about I think.I use 2ml each time that's why I think I had those side effects because I'm up to the sixth can of 60 ml at the third month only...

And since Im having some "decent" results with this dosage(2 ml each time) during these 3 months I will continue to do the same thing...I hope this will help

Yes rapid heartbeat ,I experiend also chest pain...but I did not bother me a lot

When your blood pressure is too low, your heart will have to work harder to pump the blood. Hence rapid heart beat.

It can happens, but than your body will adjust to it and this side will disappear. Nothing to worry

WTF are you guys doing? drinking the stuff?? There is no way these sides are real next of all you will be claiming dark circles around your eyes

I lowered the dosage and the heart problem seems to be solved. However I noticed that my sleep quality has worsened , and yes , I also have somewhat worse dark circles thas usual. Has anyone the same problem with sleep?

I had also some problems with sleep during the first 1.5 month but your body will be used to it and I had something under my eyes dark too with like dundruff all over my face lol...I usued argan oil under my eyes and all over my face and whithin 2 days everything had disappeared and I had no side effect during the next 1,5 month...But you have to wash very well your face and your scalp while you take your shower...It wont happen again

I have the exact same sides as you - rapid heartbeat, dark cirkles, worse sleep experience. wakes me up in the middle of the night to take a leak (tested it several times, definitely minoxidil). I had some results but the sides made me quit the drug. I was thinking about trying another brand, I had no sides with Rogaine but it wasn't showing any results. Maybe I will try to ride it out till my body adjusts (after two months sides didnt go away). Let me know if you come up with a solution.

Did you try to lower the dosage? It seems my heart issue has gone away. Sleep quality , ok , is bit worse but I can stillt wake up and not feel tired. As for dark cicles I don't think there's much we can do about it. Maybe some cream or something like that. I can only say hair loss medicals are a hazard, if you want to "survive" you have to have a healthy lifestyle and lower the dosage when necessary
