my face is unusually puffy, bags under my eyes, double chin...

my eyebrows are growing faster and thicker than ever before

my eyelashes have multiplied to about double, i have almost as many eyelashes on the bottom eyelid as most people have on the top.

i have lots of pics of my face that im using to compare, these things i'm noticing have only been like this recently...

im blaming rogaine, because i can't see how finasteride could make this happen. anyone got help for me? or do i just have to stop using the foam...? i don't want to, it's working so well.

pretty much... I dont enjoy having a fat face, so yes. I am trying other products like copper peptides which some have said can be as effective as rogain in stage 2 trials but who knows.. Check out my threads on using this product. I'm updating pictures every week. Feeling like sh*t just isn't worth it for me, although some have reported that sides go away.
good luck.

I am pretty sure the Rogaine sides go away eventually. Just because the body adapts to anything. Is your skin damp when you apply the foam. That increases systematic absorption.

I was the one who posted how I freak out every time I apply rogaine. You are having some great success cut back on the quantity drastically and post the pics that you mentioned.

For your temples you should only need like a fourth of what you need at the vertex.

GOOD NEWS

bought a herbal diuretic and have been drinking about 5L of water a day, as well as cut my sodium intake down. now i know this is a little extreme and i shouldn't have to go this far to keep my chin from being enormous, but it's working. in another couple of days i should be back to normal. i'll keep up with this and hopefully i'll be able to go back to 3Ls of water a day, i'm peeing sooooooo much.

BUT my progress keeps going, hair keeps growing, face looking normal again.

yes, come attack me in a thread that has nothing to do with you and offer nothing but random insults, go track down my old posts that have nothing to do with what were talking about (sexual sides vs water rention) and then call me a narcissistic douche. did it really take 3 posts to say that? did you try to go to sleep but wake up to add more?

how's your progress going there, buddy. getting a little, a little more hair. is it thickening up for you? yeah? starting to look NW1 again? yeah didn't think so.

i'm am however progressing quite well. bothers you a bit huh?

if you and 98% of the population want to know what a diuretic is, it is used to increase the flow of urine by ridding the body of water that is stored in fatty tissue. bodybuilders use them to cut before competitions as well as boxers before weigh ins. they do not make you retain water. and you try to make me look stupid...?

Diuretics
Definition

Diuretics are medicines that help reduce the amount of water in the body.

Purpose

Diuretics are used to treat the buildup of excess fluid in the body that occurs with some medical conditions such as congestive heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. Some diuretics are also prescribed to treat high blood pressure. These drugs act on the kidneys to increase urine output. This reduces the amount of fluid in the bloodstream, which in turn lowers blood pressure.

DietCola is quite right....

:freaked2:

...and I strongly believe, dietcola, that the increase in water intake is a very health move indeed....whatever the motivation.

"Other side effects of diuretics
Most pharmaceutical medicines are imperfect and clumsy, changing one aspect of our metabolism while unbalancing several others. Because of the dangers of diuretics, doctors generally prefer to reserve them for severe water retention (oedema) caused by a malfunctioning heart or kidneys, where the weight and pressure of the retained water could cause a further strain on the heart. If used in other types of water retention, such as those due to leaky capillaries or histamine excess (see Causes of Water Retention), diuretics could aggravate your water retention since your body will hold on to fluid to avoid becoming dehydrated. In these situations, diuretics, whether of the pharmaceutical or herbal variety, are counter-productive. "

first you say diuretics make you retain water, now you post something saying in certain scnearios it is possible that they will be counter productive. get your sh*t straight.

if you abuse perscription diuretics, it is possible to depelete the body of electrolytes and vitamins and minerals by pissing them out. in that case the body tries to replenish itself by forcing new water into those cells. you could call this water rentention if you want, but it's really just your body struggling to balance itself.

those are perscription diuretics, perscribed to people with medical conditions. you take em once and you pee all day, no drinking required. the people getting negative effects from them are the people using them regularly to look thinner.

i am on a herbal diuretic, even less potent than the natural ones used by athletes. athletes have used them for decades. they are a safe way to HELP rid the body of water retention. it is important to drink lots of water while on a diuretic to avoid dehydrating your body, i am drinking 5Ls of water, as well as taking vitamins to replace what is lost.

yeah, if anything is bothering you and you suspect it may be the foam try taking a break for one or two applications, or try skipping every third application. i think this helped me, at least it did mentally. and i'm sure i didn't sacrifice much.

so far pretty good as far as sides.. first few days a little bad but got better after the 1st week. In the morning it still looks a little "puffed" up but usually goes away after breakfast. For all you guys that got sides, stick it out a little.. it might go away. If you don't think about it, it really helps as I'm sure some of these symptoms are made worse through paranoia.
