Rograine Foam

MacAttack,
How do you apply the rograine foam. I usually just put it on the hairline and temple regions. I always wonder whether i'm putting it on correctly. Congrats on your results!

Well before I was really skimping on it so it lasted me like 6 weeks...but basically i put on like around a capful....just blast it onto my head...and really rub it in with my fingers...then i put a very small amount onto my fingers and rub it around my hairline...particularly where I have lots of vellous hairs.

what kind of regrowth are you looking for? hairline, temples, crown, vertex...? my temples were receeded back to NW3, 6 weeks later they are NW2 without a doubt. vellus hairs terning terminal all the time, if things keep up i honestly think i'll be a NW1 or damn close...my temples used to be slick bald, now they're hairy bastartds...i wish i didn't have any sides, but whatever. i'm gonna have HAIR for summer 2007, beautiful flowing hair.

I have minor recession...and minor thinning...Norwood 1.5ish or so...but my hair as it is is extremely thin all around...born like that...so even a little bit of thinning makes it look horrible...check my pics.

I agree. This sh*t works! I started liquid rogaine in December, then switched to the foam in January. My temples are looking quite better these days. I'm hoping things continue to progress to the point where I'm back to a Norwood.

great news...now just make sure you keep at it

to the user that reported the double chin.....that's pretty extreme.....how long are you going to ride it out before you go over your options again?

I am just thinning in my temples. I've been on rograine foam for about 2 months now and am not quite sure if i've had any regrowth. . don't think so though. I think i'm around a Norwood 2 maybe a 1.5. I hope by the 3rd month on the foam I can tell if i've had regrowth.

yeah i've got alot of puffyness around my jaw and under my chin, makes for an ugly looking double chin. especially since i'm a thin guy. i don't know if it's the finasteride or the minoxidil that's doing it though...and i'm trying things to reduce it but if it doesn't go away i'll have to drop something

LOL, when I read this title I thought that you were going to say that minoxidil foam gave you a boner by ridding you of finasteride side effects!

Ok here's the deal

MacAttack, i'm on my second bottle starting the second month and I could almost swear that the hair in the front has gotten a tad bit thicker but I'm not sure yet. Maybe it's because my hair is a bit longer and I need a hair cut, but I have been sort of flipping it up and it looks slighty better than it did in the past.. maybe its just me I don't know.

dietcola, I know exactly what ur talking about. However I've always dealt with that sort of puffiness at times throughout my life, I don't know if the same can be said for you. Some suggestions I can give you about the foam is to make sure you only use half a cap full and then maybe you can put a little more on days you don't think your going anywhere important. Also cut down on your salt intake.. salt makes you retain water. I don't exactly know if the foam is causing it or not (foam is the only thing I use), but I been watching the amount closely just in case. Another thing I notice the foam causes are occasional pimples in the scalp.. which isn't a big deal as long as it's not my face.

i'm using less foam now, 1/4 of a cap is about right. i'm only rubbing it on scalp and vertex so that will have to be enough. i bought a herbal diuretic and am not consuming much sodium right now. i'm doing cardio 4 days a week and drinking 4 litres of water a day or more. if i don't lose this double chin sh*t in a couple of weeks i'll have to stop minoxidil.
