I am not nw7..And I posted this because he was nw6 with a good donor area and the doctor has done a pretty good job...

There have been ppl who have had multiple hair transplants and recovered from norwood 7. Deion sanders for example basically recovered from a norwood 7, saw him on first take today w his hair grown out and it looked good.

He was Norwood 6 with really dense donor area tbh. If you are NW7, there is no way you would even become NW7 without heavy damage to whatever little of the donor area that remains.

Fair point, but I don’t think they applies to all NW7’s out there who’re losing hope. There’s been those with thick donors NW7 and sacrificed their crown for decent results. If you have beard hair which most of us w excessive dht can grow anyways then that’s another 1-2000 extra grafts.

If you truly care abt your crown that much, a body hair transplant + scalp micropigmentation could help cover up a good amount.

It’s extreme and might not turnout well for some, but there’s some options out there, even if risky.

honestly when you are a NW7 and it affects your life I would look into a hair system until a different treatment comes out. doing 5 surgeries to have a mediocre outcome, big scarring etc etc is just not worth it. sacrificing your beard is also dumb, the hair is rather different and it will look weird in your face. at that stage a system is something one should at least look into before doing all the other stuff

Don’t get me wrong, I agree with u 100% and if I were to hit NW7 that’s when I’d shave for good.
I just wanted to say there still are options and if you’re fortunate + get a good Doctor, then recovery is achievable although slim for most.

Beard and body hair would just be filler hairs, so it wouldn’t look too weird. Smp would also help the hair look more dense. Outcome would probably be 3-4 surgeries 3 FUT scars and no beard.

To be honest, in the case of OP it is definitely worth it. No maintenance and no chance of it coming off is a huge benefit.

I'm not impressed by implants so far, the best ones don't look much better then a wig.
you can always tell that something isn't right, the hair are too thick, the angle isn't right...
