so i see a lot of 30 something horshoering people.

my question is...how are they able to cope with this.

alot of them seem happy, to have a grown out horshoe ring and show society they are bald, the social clash is quite high...what with being a young face with the grandpa hair style at the sides.

i just dont understand how they have reached this level of peace with themselves, thats a level of confidence i couldnt handle,, to step out the door with the horshoeing in 30s!

Because they dont have the crippling insecurities that you do? You've got to realise that most people dont obbsess about their appearance and attractivness the way that you do.

it's just a mask, inside they're already dead.

and i hate when people say male pattern baldness isn't a disfigurment. please. it makes you look so old and rotten.

i agree with slippy

i really dont think someone can be happy like that, they are dead inside

also "apperance" and "attractivens"

its nto abut that its aobut conformiing, id much rather be a 5 6 30 somethign NW1 that looks 3/10 than a 6 0 30 somethign NW5 with horshoe ring but 6/10 looks.

its the social clash that i refer to , its just not normal.

They either dont give a sh*t or they do and just get on with it anyway as best they can.

The only realistic alternative is going sly,in this instance many haven't the confidence to shave the remaining hairs off.

Well yeah I remember when I first bit the bullet and went sly, actually doing it (shaving off all the remaining hair) felt like a very unnatural thing to do. You have hair all your life you cant control losing whats ontop but the just shave the entire donor area and have a cueball head felt very strange.

well its a very strange thing to do.

i dont think anyone has ever done this in humankind before, got rid of all your hair entirely.

i have no idea what people will think of this in the future

I'm 25 and I have already developed a horse shoe pattern.

The fact of the matter is that I have no choice but to deal with it. Yes, it ruins my sex appeal and presidents get elected faster than I get laid, but that's my life now. It's not as if people are out to get me because of my male pattern baldness. My money is as good as anybodies, you know what I mean? And I am perfectly able bodied. So it all boils down to me taking care of myself. I eat, drink, work, shop, go out, take in a show and do whatever the hell I want to do.

The sad part is that I must go through life without much female attention and that is very heart wrenching, I do admit. Everything else is business as usual, but I do wish I was attractive to the ladies, but I'm not. It has nothing to do with waking up and getting out the door and getting things done. It has everything to do with coming home and going to bed alone.

That's how it is.
