How bad is it?

27 years old. Just started taking finasteride last week. Give it to me straight, is it really bad? Do you think I can salvage it? Any haircut ideas?

You are in my opinion a good norwood 1. Nothing bad, especially at 27 it's even "normal". Stop panicking, especially if you have started finasteride you are saved.

Go back and enjoy life.

I really appreciate your guy's responses. It has put my mind at ease. I guess the biggest reason why I am a little freaked out is because at my right temple which is thinning and has a pretty nasty cowlick which causes issues in the look

Norwood 2 or even 1.5. Assuming you were diagnosed by a doctor with male pattern baldness, you are starting at the best time on finasteride.
