How can u uit finasteride avoid androgen upregulation?

I know some who been on finasteride quit then have these huge *** sheds..probably due to androgen upregulation..anyway to avoid this?..wean yourself off finasteride maybe?
i just personally started finasteride..but i want this knowledge incase i need to quit in the future and personal curiosity..thanks

I would guess that if you decide to go of finasteride you should slowly lower your dosage over the course of a couple of months. However, this will still have no effect on loosing what you gained over the course of the next 12 months after that.
