i'm kinda worried my vertex is thinning in the back... i had it cut shorter and sometimes i can see my scalp when my hair is greasy/oily/sweaty and under harsh downlighting in some close up images. when its shampooed and normal it generally looks ok.
but how common is it to have a thinning crown in your early 20s with no hairline recession? i thought most of the time a thinning vertex usually comes with some hairline recession but I'm not too sure... unless we are talking about vertex balding in old age where you see some older men developing a bald spot but have thick hair elsewhere. that being said, i'm 21 so I doubt that would be the geneti cbalding im experiencing...
