How did I have such a good response to minoxidil ( just Rogaine foam), but after stopping it it all went away (which I should've known) but now after continuously using it for probably close to six months switching from foam to liquid I'm not responding! I have even started dermaroller, keto and finasteride to help out but I'm still not seeing much results compared to the amazing results I had two years ago. I was clearly a responder, what happened does our body develop immunity's to the drug?

1st August 2015
2nd September 2015
3rd October 2015 (look at that regrowth in three months just from the foam)
4th February 2016 ( had stopped, laziness)
5th march 2016 ( regrowth completely gone)
6th August 2017, current situation might be seeing sligh improvement

Like with everything your body adapts. You took it and you responded great. You stopped and lost the gains. I guess you can say your body has adapted ever since. Maybe you can gain again but it will take longer.

you had better result with the foam ?
So far yes, I mean look at that we grow in the third picture those are thick terminal hairs. I tried the foam again sometime after and had no results, and then almost 4 months ago I was told the liquid can be better so I Switched and got on finasteride. And recently I started keto and wounding once A week. I'm not really seeing much yet.

A caveat at first I started 0.5 mg of finasteride every other day after about three weeks I started taking that dose every day, and then maybe a month ago I started taking 1 mg every day... so technically I can't say it's been almost 4 months of finasteride, but it has been with the liquid minoxidil i've missed a few times here and there but I'm pretty good getting it on morning and night. As you can see the regrowth I had from the first picture to the third was three months, but I can't remember how long I was using The foam before the first picture

you had a shed at the beginning?
you apply minoxidil to whole scalp ?
I seem to be shedding small hairs a little more then before I started my latest routine with the big 4 ( my hair is pretty long, below jaw length, The hairs I noticed on my white T-shirt are always under 2 inches, when I shower I don't notice any hairs on my hands when I use shampoo and conditioner maybe 1-4 sometimes none, but when I comb my hair when it's wet right after shower I get quite a few hairs 10 or so every now and then and some are pretty long but I get so many knots in my hair that catch on the comb especially at the back [ that's the problem with long, relatively thick, curly hair]). It's hard to tell if it's any more than normal, I would say it's a bit more than normal only slightly… And correct me if I'm wrong but the fact that it's small clearly starting to miniaturize hairs shedding that's a good sign? I try not to worry\ consider about the comb as with wet hair and a lot of knots the comb could just be pulling them out. I more so look at hairs that just fall off my head during the day, check my pillow and when I rub my scalp with shampoo and conditioner.

However in terms of a shed two years ago when I only used Rogaine foam, no I didn't notice any aggressive shed.
And I only use minoxidil on my hairline, in my right temple I might work it back about an inch maybe less just because there's more thinning there
