I got a .75mm Dermaroller. I don’t wanna go up to 1.5 yet. What are some tips and advice? How do you do it/disinfect it? How often should I do .75mm? Thanks!
Yikes, I am sure that maybe it's not recommended but I use water when I can't get 91 percent alcohol. Everclear works. But in general, it's hard to infect yourself, I believe. Try not to press too hard. All gauges seem to work as Rob Winter has a long article on this at perfect hair health/forever. Five minutes should be plenty. Once a week is fine and it won't hurt really to do it every day. Just listen to your body's feedback. You won't want to do it until you aren't sore anyway. I find that 2.0mm works better than lower gauges and I start with 2.5mm tonight.I got a .75mm Dermaroller. I don’t wanna go up to 1.5 yet. What are some tips and advice? I do remember and you claimed that I didn't pay attention2.5 is where its at.
remember earlier on I said hairline growth exploded at 2.5mm
Maybe try 1cm one. If you die you die.
Amazing to me that you guys know all of these factors. I guess MtF's sort of do some times about surgery down there. They even have specialists in non-binary surgery. He's great. If something bad happens you will get a free touchup. Rahal won't give you low hairline you want tho, he is too ethical.
That sounds like an excellent program. I have used all of the mm gauges from .75 up and I am currently at 2.5 mm. The longer gauges work best for longer hair as they don't get snarled as much in my experience.I use 0.5mm every other day for absorption and 1mm once per week with firm pressure.
How often do you use 2.5mm as I read light pressure is fine every other day for smaller needles and absorption. Longer needles require less frequent usage as this can cause skin scarring due to wounding from pressure and the healing time. That sounds like an excellent program. I have not found this alleged skin scarring to be true at any of the gauges that I have used. I apply very little pressure at 2.0 mm or 2.5 mm and basically just let the device bore into the skin as it does. There are always people who are going to highlight some small aspect that is not relevant for most people. I know that what I am doing works because I see the elimination of scar tissue which is much more noticeable than the growth of "baby hairs". Micro-needling is from all the aspects within my purview, an amazing treatment for skin more so than a hair-regrowth treatment. It can do that, of course, but I feel that it is a secondary benefit. I note that all studies to my knowledge have been done at gauges of 2.5mm or lower. How often do you use 2.5mm as I read light pressure is fine every other day for smaller needles and absorption.
