How Far Are You Guys Willing To Go To Treat Hairloss?

The obvious advice is to get on finasteride and monxidil, which I'm currently on. Some people just use 'natural' substances on their head while others muster up enough courage to start finasteride and monxidil. Others take it one step further with duasteride. I know a few members here use RU although it's not officially licensed for hairloss and I'm not sure of it's effectiveness.

Would a lot of you guys consider a hair transplant or when better options like tsuji come in, will you be prepared to pay $30,000 maybe even more.

im a priviliged Norwood~2 something with some thinning (which minoxidil has helped) so im still shitting bricks about the conception of using antiandrogen sh*t. i had earlier said something about being nw2-3 but i was just freaking out and overreacting when i noticed my recent temple recession.

Get on it man . Seriously if you have thinning and value your hair. finasteride hasn't affected me at all and I'm almost at the 1 year mark. I will say though , it hasn't improved my hair either lol.

The most hardcore I would ever go is dutasteride + RU (possibly) + minoxidil + dermarolling. I would never touch oral minoxidil, oral spironolactone, and all of those other hardcore AAs.

Did finasteride, dutasteride, spironolactone, cypro, minoxidil oral and topical, high dose ru, topical daro, topical desloratadine, prp, wounding, lllt.

So id do almost anything for a full head of hair.

Thankfully I've found a working solution out of the above. I would be very nervous considering Tsuji or other stem cell technologies. I'm glad I won't have to until 10-20 years from now at the earliest when we have some safety data.

Why are you nervous about tsuji?

I have stopped using any treatments for hairloss.
I am working to accept my baldness because i prefer confidence, acceptance in myself more important than any superficial looks.

Biggest mistake done by me was to be a superficial person and paid a huge price for this.

This is probably the healthiest route.

Personally, I now look at hair loss prevention/rollback as a project like lifting weights or learning a new language. Failing won't diminish my worth as a person, and succeeding won't make me better than anyone else, but it's a damn cool thing to do and useful to have. I feel that this is the 2nd most healthy way to look at it.

Not too far, honestly: HRT to stop further thinning and improve overall hair density and maybe one FUE session for hairline improvement. I think, I will need twice as less grafts than this guy to achieve such a result.

UPD: Just noticed JeanLucBB in comments under this video, lol.

Also...sometimes there is huge chance in falling in love with that look.

If someone is undergoing hair loss treatememt,
stick to the regimen religiously but don't expect for some target or feeling of burden to succeed.
Hair might stop falling and thinning.

I am norwood 6 with very good donor density.
As a person with very aggressive hairloss, its fun to see donor area not suffering from thinning and hairloss.

Its worth thinking what you said about failing and succeeding part.

Not very far, I dont mind that much. I just use finasteride and thats it. I would probably have a hair transplant.

Theres really better things in life to worry about than the hair on my head lol.

Totally agree brehbrah, I only come on hair loss talk for all the sweet memes and avatars and sh*t.

How can it get any further than HRT?

Dutasteride + minoxidil + nizoral at 17 years old.

I don't care if that's extreme or has shitty side effects, i want to save my hair as soon as possible before it's too late and i regret not doing anything.

People need to have more courage if they want to keep their hair and give "dangerous" treatments a chance.

In order to have something, you have to sacrifice another.
