How fucked am I? - 26 y/o (not on any treatment yet)

Been shedding like crazy. pretty sure I'm heading to sh*t. Would like to know what you guys think and what my best train of action would be.

Worried about my crown and the top of my head. Also, my hairline definitely looks a lot thinner than it used to.

Finasteride! If you are willing, throw in oral minoxidil. You should do alright, does not seem to be VERY aggressive.

finasteride would stop all the thinning but weigh the pros/cons of it. Also your white+good hairline so it may in your best interest to just shave it all. Finasteride can have some fucked up side effects

Oral is way stronger, I'm growing hair across my entire body with it lmao. But topical is enough, just put it on scalp daily

Oral > topical, I see no difference there. Everything goes systemic when using topical, just mire localized.

My thoughts (kinda) exactly. I'm already hairy so wouldn't wanna have more body hair lmao. Would ideally like to just pick finasteride and that's it. I've heard minoxidil is kinda fucked when you stop and the sheds could get pretty bad.

Nothing yet, friends are. Will go for it in a year or so, first I need to halt it, I am not into regrowth yet, I want to first stop progression, right now only on finasteride, but thinking about oral AA's. 5ARi's are literally powerless to <20 yo hair loss sufferers.

Yes, I want to see how far I can go with hormonal meds for regrowth, if its not getting better, then I am going for minoxidil. The fact that your hair gets dependant on minoxidil is just fucked up but oh well. It literally sheds all off after discontinuation of a few days lol.

I recommend only 2mg when you take it. I took 10mg for a month and had serious heart problems lol, felt like I had a heart attack at one point. My fault for taking 3x the recommended dosage, though...
