We all know that Zinc is an aromatize inhabitor. The question is, is it good enough to fix the sexual problems tha propecia causes, is it a strong aromatize inhabitor? If it worked, then why hasn't cured all those sufferers out there, like the men on propeciahelp? Has anyone here used it and found it helped alot, even shown to limit estrogen in blood tests?

Shma has a record, which is a good example.

No, but there's no telling how high it goes, when it's out of control because of DHT deficiency. When your hormones settle, you'll most likely be hypogonadal.

My estradiol is pretty low, and em very skinny, does that help at all in determing if I'll get sides?

No, but I guess you'll be fine.
there must be some sort of pattern when it comes to who is more likely to get sides. I know 2 guys who take propecia, they are both very hairy, they don't have any sides. Maybe guys who have more DHT are less likely to get sides. Has no one ever taken a closer look at guys who have done blood test before and after finasteride, to see if the numbers can tell us anything about who's more vunerable?

This has been discussed on the Antiandrogens & Androgen Blockers subforum. Maybe you're less likely to get side effects if you've a lot of body hair, since it indicates a high DHT level. However, the only thing that I truly believe that matters, is body fat, because it contains a lot of aromatse enzymes.

Regarding blood tests; the problem is that a blood test before finasteride treatment isn't a part of the Doctor's prescribing guidelines.

When you're having trouble seeing your own dick because of the stomach, you either have a small dick, or you're fat. Hard to say.

but would a bloodtest before finasteride really tell the dr. if one likely to get sides??

No, it's really just a matter of precaution. An insurance if something goes wrong.

Did the discussion on the subforums reveal any pattern?
