How long after starting finasteride can you still shed?

My hair has become worse continuously during 10.5 months on finasteride. No real shedding, but considerable thinning. I see maybe 20 hairs in the shower, so shedding is not bad, but my hair looks like crap, very thin and transparent.

So my question is, how long after starting finasteride can the hair still get worse and worse and then eventually start regrowing? Do we have people here who have experienced drastic improvement since 10 months or is this game over?

wish i could tell ya , I'm on a constant down slope each month worse and worse [7 plus months on finasteride ; so far] , hoping for a turn around soon or i will have to start min.

Where did you get your finasteride?


Finasteride is usually not linked to shedding, although some do shed in later months, or even earlier. I don't really understand it.

But the time you have been on it it should have worked.


Do you have the real drug? Where do you get it?
