i stopped using minoxidil yesterday. Mainly because i hate how it makes me look like i have chronic dandruff. If it didnt do that id still be using it. I cant be havin the dandruff look. It might hurt my rep as #1 Ice rink DJ

Ive started to lose some hairs around my temples, but i might be going through a minor dutasteride shed.

any ideas? Cheers

I would get on the foam. If it is not available in your country then look into picking it up on eBay, those sellers ship anywhere.

no.

Some users reported that finasteride started to loose his effect after 6 years. One user said 9 years. And by a graph about DHT levels that some user posted i conclude that.

Still no one knows the answer to the thread's starter question.

I've posted the following set of graphs 150 times in the past to answer that question. This is now the 151st time that I've posted it:

where are you getting this stuff about propecia losing it's effectiveness after 5 yrs? It's never been proven just urban legend created on these forums.

Ok what do you think is the factor contributing to the dip below baseline and then the recovery around week 108?? Just curious to what causes the baseline to go way under and then recover for the next few months?

The line at week 96 indicates when they stop treatment. So the guys on the minoxidil rapidly lose the hair they had kept and gained with the minoxidil. They dip below, and then return to pretty much exactly where they would have been had they not used any treatment.

I understand that, but what makes them actually dip below baseline like at week 108 and then shoot back up??
