How long for finasteride to stop working once off it?

I am running low on Propecia. I had some questions and concerns early on but after snooping around here I have answered them myself and am ordering some Fincar off inhouse. If I wait until my order arrives I'm looking at no finasteride for 7-14 days.

How bad is this?

Common sense is telling me I should just spend the $30-something.

less than one year. Since you are back to baseline in a year, it stops working well before then. Actually, it stops working in less than a week. But I don't know when the shed starts.

7-14 days is not too bad. And for inhouse, it will be 7. I'm sure your hair will have a little damage, but you will not notice it.

take what pills you have left and split them, and its totally fine to skip a day every few days, you will be fine

Good idea.

I have but one left......but that sounds like a good idea.

Esp. considering I've read that small doses don't have that much of a fall-off from the higher ones.

Ended up ordering from United.

About 10 days ago. Still haven't received. Not worried cause I think it is from overseas.

As for me and my finasteride intake (if you will)....

I had .5 mg on day 2 or 3 I think......

Then .25 on day 4 or 5.......

Then .25 on day 6 or 7.......

I'm debating on whether I should just get another 15 pill order of Propecia from the local pharmacy tomorrow. It's another $30 to shell out but I figure it's important to stay on track with this.

Any advice?

I presume it's not a huge deal. But neither is $30 really.

if it buys your some some mental piece of mind, go for it, i know it would make me worry, even though there is not too much to worry about, especially starting out

Got it today yayyyyy. Hairs are still rooted strongly. Very happy thusfar.

Thanks for the help from everyone throughout all my various question-asking. Appreciate it. I now have a finasteride source that I trust and that won't break the bank. (NOT EVEN CLOSE)

I have no reason to assume anything but continued success.
