Cross Post from Tressless with no reliable answers

I am trying to develop my own Cetirizine topical solution.

I have 30 10mg tablets and one PG solvent of 60 ml.

How many crushed pills would it take to make 1ml of Cetirizine?

You have to specify the dosage/concentration you want. What does 1ml of Cetirizine mean?
A 5% concentration would be 50mg per ml so 3g for the whole 60ml bottle.

Thanks for the clarification and my apologies for the error.

It should have read as 1% Cetirizine

The authors evaluated the efficacy of topical cetirizine for treatment of androgenetic alopecia in 85 male and female study participants. Overall, 67 participants applied cetirizine 1% daily on the scalp, and 18 applied vehicle as controls. The treatment group showed increased total density, increased terminal density, and decreased vellus density after 6 months of use. Prostaglandin D2 has been implicated in baldness, and the mechanism of action is thought to relate to the anti-PGD2 effect of cetirizine.

I tried dissolving certizine tablets but they won’t dissolve. What about certizine oral solution?

The syrup has inactive ingredients which may hinder topical absorption.

Having said that the dissolvable tablets may be a better way to go.

50% distilled water, 30% ethyl alcohol, 20% PG has worked well for me

1% concentration (60ml solution, so 60x 10mg tablets)

Crush the Ceti into a fine powder - I put the tablets on a piece of paper and fold the paper so the tablets are covered, then use a empty wine bottle to crush and roll over the tablets until its all powder.
Then you take the powder and mix it in a cup with the distilled water, let it sit for 24 hours until the mixture separates and the water sits at the top. Then use dropper to absorb the liquid, leaving the powder to discard.
Mix the water you separated with the ethyl alcohol and PG, and you're done.

Alcohol? I saw someone claiming that alcohol degrades Ceti.
