I got some breast enlargement (on the left side), noticed around after 4 months of finasteride usage. dropped it at 5 months, left breast remained unchanged.

To be honest, I saw more reports about this than I expected on the boards.

keep in mind that you tend to gain fatty weight in your stomach and breast tissue, so what some people freak and consider to be "gyno" could simply be weight gain from a high-sugar diet.

Yea I guess people who get gyno from propecia would have a tendency to go online and post it then people who do not get it....Also I have heard some ppl mistake fat builup (not gyno) for tissue buildup (gyno)....I guess I am low risk for making that mistake since I am underweight if anything and tend to work out a lot....does that make any sense?

Underweight too, been on 1.25mg for ~a year, and my chest is still as flat as a 10 year old boys. Wouldn't mind some enlargement, I can say that they're pecs

Every picture I've seen from supposed Finasteride gyno has been a picture of a massively obese man.
I think that most of them are just blaming Finasteride when instead it's their own obesity - they just have "moobs".
The rare subset of those may have had high estrogen levels in the first place (Estrogen levels are higher in obese men) and Finasteride upped this to a level that grows breasts.

Hmm yea, I guess that's cuz you haven't looked hard enough.

Doesn't look obese to me. But if you want to keep telling yourself that's the case for every guy that reports such side effects from finasteride so you'll feel better about taking it, go right ahead.

Is this really so bad? Looks like an average adult man to me.

For most people gyno is only noticable if it's full blown, meaning real man boobs hanging down.

It's like most members don't see a Norwood 1-2 as balding, because they mostly just started to lose their hair.
