How many of you live in large metropolitan areas?

Since moving from a small town to a large metropolis type city, I have been disgusted with the amount of emphasis the people here put on image.

I notice that most people in this section are quite upset about losing their hair and I wonder if its due to living in a big city where everyone is obsessed with how they look?

So what is it, big city or small town?

NW2 is average even if your 18 people dont notice it. I've never been less than a NW2. But in general it does'nt matter where you live its all the same, if you live in a city of 1000 or 1,000,000, people are exposed to the same media and cultures.

Well, I live in one of the biggest cities in Canada and I could see some validity to your speculations. People seem to be very shallow, I was in highschool not to long ago, and the amount of emphasis on looks was brutal.

Its really just comes down the genetic lottery. If you want to do well in it you need to be the tall, good looking guy with excellent hair genes and a good social demeanor or the thin, pretty faced girl.

:thumbdown2: meiosis.

It's cold here too. No hair to keep my head warm.
