does anybody know how much hair fall a day is not an abnormality
im only one female in my family of my age so i really wonder as how much hair fall a day is within normal limits i have a toddler so i really wonder what is normal hair loss
i wonder why i loose hair at my topmost scalp does anyone know

Hi Rita! Welcome to the board!

Normal shedding is anywhere from 50-100 hairs per day. That's just an average range. Some people can shed way more than that or less then that.

There is only a problem when there is more hair falling out then what is growing in (i.e. If you are losing 100 hairs a day but only 75 of those hairs are being replaced then you will notice thinning .)

Are you thinning all over or just on top? Have you been to a Doctor?
