I seem to even get ok coverage on just on drop there but surely u need mre than that for it to work ? But i dont want to use the stuff o terminal hairs just balding thinning areas to see if it can work for me first..anyway..anybody got any advice?

You reminde me of myself a few years ago. We have almost the exact same hair line, except im a few years ahead of you, progression wise. IF I were you, id just jump on proscar and maintain what you have. Eventually the hair between your temples will thin out and then your temples will meet in the back and it wont be pretty. It looks like you have alot of density still, so finasteride should help out alot.

I woudnt go on minoxidil just yet...

ps- you stole my avatar!!!!! j/k

I think Chia has a point, but frontal recession is a tough battle.

Definetly start on Finasteride and Nizoral

then make a choice....

wait 9-12 months to see how works before adding minoxidil
also a spironolactone solution to really kick genetics ***
start minoxidil and possible regrow right now.

So chia did u start on propecia before your hair recded and thinned to that point and propecia just didnt stop it or did u wait to u worse than Iam to start propecia..just trying to see if propecia has helpedu out..u said eventually so is it unavoidable for me? or will propecia prevent me from getting to the point where the hair meets in the back although nobody in my family has that type of hair thinning ..Im assuming your talking about where u get that patch of hair in the front and its no longer connected to the rest of the hair in the back....that would suck..:(...Im hoping your not at that point yet and Propecia has prevented it for u..Im 26 by the way

but obody can offer how much minoxidil to use in that area I wanna test it on the right side

Use the 1ml per application and share it evenly between temples and a little further back.

Get on Propecia and nizoral dude, minoxidil alone ain't going to do sh*t for you. At this point, if I were you, I would pray for just maintenance. minoxidil might not regrow Sh*t and is not likely to stop further loss.

1mL in th problem areas. minoxidil is actually not overly localized, meaning its effects can also be seen in areas proximal to its initial application. Women who use minoxidil often have trouble with facial hair growth. I agree with everyone else, you arent really getting to the root of the problem unless you are utilizing anti-androgens ie. propecia or topical spironolactone.

Reminds me of my hairline years and years past. Remember that even though your hair "looks" like it's only receding in front, probably the majority of your hair is being affected by DHT. It's just a matter of time before (unless you slow or stop it) hairs that look OK today, don't look OK later because they are in the sink. My suggestion is to use BIG 3 and don't stop until better treatments come out later (if ever)...at least you can keep your hair on your head longer than it normally would. That's my 2 cents. Shiney

I am using minoxidil on my temples, and i use only .25ml on each one. so a total of .5 ml, and thats at most. A lot of the times I probably use a little less. It's impossible to put a ful 1ml for only the temples, thats a waste. It's too much for a small area. But get your *** on finasteride too, because the follicles behind your thin/receded temples are probably getting their asses kicked by DHT.
