How much minoxidil to Use?

I am applying minoxidil to both my crown and the frontal area of my hair.

I know that the minoxidil instructions say you should only use 1mL, but I think they are assuming you are only using it on your crown. If I'm applying it to the frontal area as well, should I use a total of 2mL per application?

I also apply on the crown and front. I found out that 1ml is enough for both areas.
