How quickly does the shed start once you start on minoxidil?

Hi Gents,
I recently switched from Rogaine foam(6 months) to Minoxidil 5% + BV. I'm watching whether my switching causing any extra hair loss?

So could you please answer, How quickly does the shed start once you start on Rogaine / Minoxidil as a new user? (I started my rogaine foam regimen on shaved head, so i don't know exactly when the shed started)

it was 4 weeks into treatment for me.

it is possible minoxidil lubricated some of your telogen hairs so they slid out easily. But it should take longer than a day to change a hair cycle.

Minoxidil takes 2-4 months to give results, and over a year to peak. Sheds tend to preceed results.
