How rare is a genuine NW1 in white western men?

It seems pretty rare to be honest. Western/northern Europeans really drew the short stick when it comes to hair genetics.

I'm mid twenties and apart from myself ( and only because I'm on heavy treatments) only one other guy in my social circle has a NW1 and he's half Brazilian. Most guys are between NW1.5 and NW3, and those are the ones that aren't 'balding' ( NW3+ according to normies' standards)

In my experience it varies very much. In my college almost everyone is balding and when I say balding, I mean NW3+ (I am the only one shaved tho), but people from my high school don;t lose hair at all (with the exception of that one motherfucker NW6 at 17). I am the only one in my friends group who is balding and I seem to bald for all their sins lmao

There are some days when I see plenty of NW1 guys in public, even in older guys, and NW4+ people just look completely out of place. Then there are other days where it looks like everybody are balding badly and I just think "wtf happened?"

Idk, bro, today when I got off the subway at a semi-crowded station at a time post-rush-hour (9:00 AM) I watched the people that were boarding the opposite train.
Idk, probably out of 50-80 men, only 3-4 were bald and all were in their 40s.
The more I observe this curse, the more I see how rare this condition is for men younger than 40.
WE SPECIAL, BOYS.
Edit: The only place where I see the most young bald men is the gym and the reason is probably f*****g obvious.

I would estimate that 70-80% are NW1 at age 30. At age 60 it might be down to around 20-30%. No major hair loss into old age like Robert DeNiro? Maybe that's 10-15%. NW1 is a little more common than we think.

Interesting. I think most people are pretty accurate Norwood spotters even if they're not familiar with the terminology. Pretty sure normies only classify "balding" as NW3+ and receding as NW2 to NW3. The average non-balding Caucasian hairline for men 25+ is a NW2 tbh
