How to Combat finasteride Mood Swings

Hey guys. Been on finasteride a couple weeks now and it has had a pretty noticeable effect on my mood and energy level. I can definitely understand what the 'depression' people were talking about. I've found a decent way to combat this, however.

For me, the mood swing is always most noticeable in the first few hours after I take it. So, instead of popping it in the morning as I head off to work, I have begun taking it as soon as I get back from work (5 pm) and get my workout in right after coming home. That way by the time I arrive for work the next morning (8 am) the pill has been in my system a good 15 hours and thus it's side effects have diminished considerably. Using this method I really feel back to my old self. I don't know if there is any medical basis for this to work, since I was under the impression finasteride is time-released, but it certainly seems to work for me. This might be something to try for those who have experienced the mood shifts.

Anyone else had success with this?

I just beat people senseless. Seems to work just as well.
