How to make smaller doses of finasteride?

I want to start back on finasteride some point soon, I still have about 20 pills or so left (so thats 100 days worth at 1mg).

Thing is I want to take a lower dosage in the hope I won't get as strong sexual side-effects. I was thinking about taking 0.5mg doses since I have read that this is just as effective as 1mg but with lower sides.

Question is, how the hell do you cut a proscar pill into tenths? I would have thought it nearly impossible

Hi it is me again :evil:

Dissolve a pill with some drinking alcohol and measure each dose accordingly or I heard from my brother who is a pharmacist that you can take your pills to a drugstore, cvs eckerd, and they will crush the pills and put the powder into a capsule for you. Might cost you some money tho.

Drinking alcohol? does that mean I gota drink alcohol every morning? I drink enough of the stuff as it is
