How to really thicken up your hair with pics

Rogaine foam, minoxidil liquid, dutasteride, finasteride and Nizoral have been doing a really nice job of stopping my hair loss and have thickened my hair up quite a bit. As many of you who use the foam know, after you apply the foam and it dries, your hair will look quite a bit thicker. It makes thin limp hair look stronger and thicker. What I have noticed is that this effect from the Rogaine foam will wear off after a few hours. So instead of keeping reapplying the Rogaine foam all day which gets expensive, I just keep a regular can of cheap hard mousse with me. I liberally apply it, focusing on the roots. It immediately plumps and thickens my hair and keeps it from being so limp. After that dries, I will often apply baby powder to my hair. I put some on my hand and then push it through my hair. This plumps up my hair even more. It looks like I have a thick head of hair after i do this.

I noticed a lot of you guys have recommended hair wax such as the manga hair stuff and the surf hair stuff. I have tried this and I don't think this is a good way to plump up the hair. It tends to just make the hair kind of greasy in my opinion if you use it too much. I do use a small amount of hair wax on my hair, but just for styling my hair, not to thicken my hair.

I'm 32, and my hair line has probably gone up an inch around the front and the temples since my mid twenties. I hope that this area will fill in, but I'm not holding my breath. If I can maintain my hair and maybe thicken it up a little more, I will be quite satisfied.

I'm including some pics of my hair after my mousse, baby powder routine. I was thinking about mosaicing out my face, but f*** it. I don't really care if there is the rarest chance someone I know sees this.

Good call mate, weird coincidence. I got back from the shop 30 mins ago having just bought some mousse for the 1st time for exactly the same reason (I use Rogaine foam and like its moussing effect).

Just tried it and it seems to have worked pretty well. :)

The baby powder thing is new to me, where did you get that idea from?

Edit: Oh I see some chicks on youtube talking about how it works like a cheaper dry shampoo to make your hair less oily.

Interesting with the baby powder, im 33 and look way older then yourself your hair at the moment no one would even think you are loosing it since you could pass for a guy in his early 20s still.

Course the real test would be to push the hair back ;) regardless if you can cover up your hair loss with the longer locks of hair from the sides/top keep doing it if thats what your doing.

I'm guessing you don't have to use any concealers, fibres with that hair?
Your hair looks great, couldn't ever spot a problem there

And yeh, the baby powder thing has been going for many years, We used to do it as kids when we couldn't be bothered to wash our hair, it was a clean up job, as opposed to a thickener though
