How To Stop Anti-androgens/ Finasteride Losing Efficacy Over Time?

Seems to be a pretty common thing that a lot of people are back here 10 years later saying "finasteride has stopped working. My hair has started falling out again."

What can be done to avoid this, and I imagine anti-androgens like CB carry the same fate?

From the first sentence on Wikipedia re. acquired drug tolerance/ reduced efficacy:

"Pharmacodynamic tolerance begins when the cellular response to a substance is reduced with repeated use. A common cause of pharmacodynamic tolerance is high concentrations of a substance constantly binding with the receptor, desensitizing it through constant interaction."

With finasteride it is established in studies that .25mg EOD/ E3D is almost as effective as 1mg ED unless you are an outlier who requires a relatively much larger dose (1mg ED).

I am using CB as a standalone treatment and wondering if using every second day or taking Saturday and Sunday off would be a good way to "give the receptors a rest"?

Anyone with any knowledge on this sort of thing because it is quite a significant issue it seems and if it can be avoided by adjusting treatment volume and frequency then that would be a pretty big deal.
