Hydrocortisone for anti-itch ?

Is it okay to use a bit of hydrocortisone w/ aloe & vitamin e, cream on your scalp to relieve itching ?

I had a little go of that myself with hydrocortisone but it's only good for temporary use and not good for long term. I did find it helped a little but like I said don't use it all the time.
