I suffer bad HA from Propecia and dutasteride.

Im using topical RU.. Does ANYONE (Anyone being Bryan lol) know if it could also result in HA?

Lowering DHT causes it but can binding with receptors also do the same??

no.... how can it ???

Propecia raises you T levels and lowers your DHT levels... some AR's act oddly to the hormonal change and some get HR along with Telogen Effluvium ..

Ru58841 acts in a diff. way... kind of like spironolactone but A LOT better... it acts in blocking T & DHT form attaching your AR... so it does nothing to your blood it's like a barrier per say.

Most say RU is even better because it does more then propecia.

Not if RU's effect is purely local. And all the available scientific evidence indicates that it's purely local.

Which is what I thought.. but making sure.

And Bryan.. I am really concerned about sebum blocking the RU from reaching the nucleus.. I shave my head with a razor blade every 2-3 days and exfoliate the scalp to remove dead skin during a shower.. but could the sebum in the follicle still be preventing the RU from hitting the spot?

RU has a low molecular weight of under 500 so it can easily penetrate the skin and go deep and even systemic while being mixed with ethanol.

if you wash you hair with soap or shampoo it will take perhaps 30 minutes for the sebum to go back to normal levels, depending on the person. So if you apply a topical before that, it might get better absorbtion since there is less sebum.

the most important with RU is to use fresh powder as often as possible.

I use 5grams in a 60mL minoxidil mix.. throw it in a fridge and use it once a night.. itll last me 1.5 months.

Surely that fresh enough
