I Am 17 Years Old And Noticed A Weird Thin Patch Of Hair, Am I Balding?

I got out of the shower last night and noticed a weird patch of what looks like thinning hair on the back of my head. My dads hairline and hair density has not changed since he was 20 and some men on my moms side of the family deal with male pattern baldness but it usually started in their 50’s. Another note I am on doxycycline for acne right now and wear a hat for work but I don’t know what is happening.

You should give some more details, are you shedding? Was it like that before or you just noticed the change? It looks thin from my perspective but again I don't know if it was like that before...

Looks like a double crown maybe, I have the same thing. I wouldn’t worry too much mate, looks fine to me. Just take a look every few months to be sure.
